A decisão de avançar para a candidatura de uma quarta Equipa de Intervenção Permanente (EIP) nos Bombeiros de Vila Pouca de Aguiar foi aprovada na reunião de câmara da última quinta-feira (10)
Segundo o presidente do Município, Alberto Machado, a corporação é a única no distrito com três EIP, e visto que “vão abrir candidaturas a curto prazo, foi decidido candidatar mais uma EIP”.
Estas equipas, constituídas por cinco bombeiros, são suportadas em 50% pelas autarquias e o restante pela Autoridade Nacional de Emergência e Proteção Civil.
