O alerta para um incêndio num estábulo, na aldeia de Vila da Ponte, concelho de Montalegre, foi dado pelas 22h40 deste domingo.
Segundo Hernâni Carvalho, comandante dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Salto, “o incêndio foi dado como dominado pelas 23h30. Além dos prejuízos materiais, há a lamentar a morte de dois bovinos”.
Ao local acorreram 17 operacionais e seis viaturas dos Bombeiros de Salto, bem como “uma patrulha da GNR de Montalegre com dois militares”.
De acordo com o comandante, “as autoridades estão a investigar as causas” do incêndio que, por agora, são desconhecidas.
